A Week of Peace in Orlando
Saturday, September 26th ~ A Day of Environmental-focused Screenings at the Orlando Science Center including special guests from Gatorland. 10am – 5pm. Tickets available through the Orlando Science Center. www.osc.org

2nd Annual Global Peace Street Fair. 10am- 3pm. Vendors for peace, including artists, animal rescue and more. Special guest visitors from Gatorland, ponies from Heart Land Horse Rescue, drumming lessons for children, graffiti art and so much more. 2nd Annual International Pet Parade for Peace. 11am. Part of our Global Peace Street Fair festivities! The parade will travel down New Broad Street in the Village Center. Want to join the parade? Show up by 10:45am at BullFish in Baldwin Park. Dogs on short leashes, in fact, all pets are welcome as long as they can walk half a mile or be carried. Dress your dog with an international flair, or its favorite outfit! We are encouraging the pet owners to dress up as well. Monday, September 21st ~ For a fourth year, OCPS Service Learning/GPFF Peace Art Exhibit by students (K-12 from 20 schools in Orange County) will be on display in the Rotunda of Orlando’s City Hall. Tuesday, September 22nd ~ Opening Night Outdoor Screening at Rollins College on Mills Lawn -The Day After Peace, charts the ten year journey of director Jeremy Gilley to establish a worldwide ceasefire day on September 21, the UN International Day of Peace, and features celebrities including Jude Law and Angelina Jolie. 8pm. FREE. (in case of rain, the film will be shown in the gym).
Thursday, September 24th ~ Free Outdoor Screening in Baldwin Park - "Playing for Change: Peace Through Music" (at the courtyard on the corner of Prospect Avenue and New Broad Street). 8pm. FREE. For more information, visit BullFish in Baldwin Park.
Friday, September 25th – Filmmaker Reception at Ten Thousand Villages, 346 N. Park Ave., Winter Park. Meet the festival’s visiting filmmakers. Light snacks. 6:30pm – 8:30pm. FREE.
